Job Summary

The Infrastructure Consultant at Axxend Corporation is a vital member of the Infrastructure Team. This role involves providing expert guidance, technical support, and strategic consulting to our clients throughout the project lifecycle. As an Infrastructure Consultant, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including the Team Lead, Infrastructure, to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our clients’ business objectives. Your expertise in Microsoft infrastructure technologies and exceptional problem-solving skills will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects and contributing to the growth of our organization.

Duties and Essential Job Functions

Pre-sales Support:
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand clients’ technical requirements and provide pre-sales support by offering technical expertise during the proposal development process.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to showcase the capabilities of our Microsoft infrastructure solutions and address any technical queries or concerns.
• Assist in scoping, estimating, and designing infrastructure solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.

Technical Delivery:
• Lead and participate in the implementation, configuration, and deployment of Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including but not limited to Windows Server, Active Directory, System Center Suites, Exchange Server, Azure, Office 365 and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure the smooth operation of our clients’ infrastructure.
• Conduct infrastructure assessments and provide recommendations for improvements, migrations, and upgrades to enhance system performance and security.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure solutions with other aspects of the client’s IT environment.
Intellectual Property Management:
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of intellectual property, including best practices, knowledge base articles, technical documents, and reusable solution templates.
• Ensure compliance with copyright laws and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and client data.
Business Development:
• Identify opportunities to expand our service offerings and propose innovative solutions to meet clients’ evolving infrastructure needs.
• Contribute to the creation of business development strategies and actively participate in marketing initiatives to promote our infrastructure consulting services.
• Build strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and seek referrals for potential new clients.
Growth:
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, advancements, and updates in Microsoft infrastructure technologies, certifications, and industry best practices.
• Pursue relevant Microsoft certifications and encourage continuous professional development within the Infrastructure Team.
• Mentor and train junior consultants, sharing knowledge and insights to foster their growth and enhance the overall capabilities of the team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, System Center Suites, Exchange Server, Azure, and Office 365.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
